My Trinity Church
When I walk into the forest, I step into a room of silence.
Between trunks and light, I find peace — the trees stand as pillars in my Trinity Church.
I collect trees, not to own them, but to remember them.
Sometimes I find them deep in the woods,
other times I see them while driving —
a shape, a curve, a presence — and I have to stop, step out, and photograph them.
Only a small remnant of Norway’s primeval forest remains —
as NRK wrote, parts of our oldest nature disappear every day.
Through these images, I wish to preserve what still breathes.
