Oslofjorden – What We Still Have

I have always been fascinated by the Oslo Fjord —
the calm, the light, the quiet presence of water so close to the city.
It has always felt like a breath, a pause, a place to return to.

Sometimes I sit by the fjord with my camera,
watching the reflections shift with the wind.
I swim here all year, I snorkel through the seasons —
and each time, I see less life beneath the surface.

The fjord is beautiful, but it is also dying.
The water is polluted, the fish are gone,
and yet the surface still shines, pretending nothing has changed.

Through these photographs, I want to hold on to what remains —
to remind us to stop, to look,
and to care before it all slips away.
